Password/Phrase Requirements
The following criteria will be applied to Clackamas Community College account passwords/phrases:
- Password/phrase may not contain the user's account name or entire full name.
- Password/phrase must be different from the previous four passwords/phrases.
- Password/phrase must have a minimum length of 12 characters and contain three of the following:
- Uppercase letters
- Lowercase letters
- Digits 0-9
- Special character from the following list:
'-!"#$%&()*,./:;?@[]^_{|}~+<=>
In addition, the following policies are applied to password/phrase usage:
- Password/phrase must be changed at least every 365 days.
- If an incorrect password is entered 10 times in a row, the account will be locked. To unlock your account, call 503-594-6074.
It may take several minutes for the password change to take effect. If the new password doesn't work immediately, please wait before trying again.
